Investment Banking Senior Associate

Our client is one of the leading investment banking boutiques in the DACH-region and has successfully completed a large number of transactions with focus on real estate and infrastructure and a total volume of more than €50 billion since 2013.

Due to the growth of their business they are looking to hire a senior associate / VP level banker to strenghten their team.

AUFGABEN

The role:

• Act as the day-to-day client point of contact on deals

• Create and analyze financial models, help manage transaction processes and assist in structuring transactions

• Organize and prepare presentations for clients and prospects

• Support in identifying and managing risks in deals

• Coordinate teams of tax advisors, auditors, attorneys and real estate valuers

• Lead due diligence processes and actively participate in the negotiation of legal documentation and preparation of committee presentations

• Support in client negotiations, Q&A processes and management interviews

• Coordination, training and supervision of associates and interns

QUALIFIKATION

Your profile:

• Strong academic track record with Bachelor’s degree or above required

• 4+ years of investment banking experience, preferably in M&A or real estate

• Very strong quantitative and analytical skills

• Experience in financial valuation with knowledge of comparable companies / precedent transactions required

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in German and English

• Ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity

• You comfortably interact with clients in a professional manner

• Experience in preparing and maintaining presentations and benchmarking materials

• Ability to manage projects and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of the team

• You work well under pressure and to tight deadlines

• You have strong interpersonal skills, an eye for detail, are well organized and pro-active
