Kitchen Assistant

At HALO Bagels, we are dedicated to redefining the bagel experience in Berlin with our artisanal sourdough bagels. We strongly believe that our passion for food and hospitality will create joyful moments that bring people together - we call them FULL CIRCLE MOMENTS.

We are seeking a new team member to join our diverse and international team on our journey to becoming a beloved food brand in Berlin.

TASKS

• You support the production of all bagel toppings, preparing fresh and a variety of ingredients (including meat/fish) according to our in-house recipes
• You'll learn how to shape bagels in order to support the Bakery team when busy time comes
• You help maintain cleanliness in the BOH and comply with operational hygiene standards as well as legal regulations
• You support food inventory tracking following FIFO/FEFO, including stock checks and storage control, together with our Kitchen Manager

REQUIREMENTS

• You're comfortable switching between different kitchen tasks and possess strong organizational skills
• You naturally have a strong team spirit mindset, with excellent communication skills and get energized by working with people
• You're personally passionate about food & hospitality and feel fully connected with the HALO brand and the product to deliver top quality every day
• You're open to work flexible hours during weekdays and weekends, and have already been exposed to fast-paced environments
• You have a good understanding of baked goods and food in general, with a strong desire to excel in your daily work (experience in a kitchen/baking environment is a plus, but not mandatory)
• You're fluent in English, German is a plus
