Category Manager Professional Services - FM &Utilities (m/f/d)

SHORT DESCRIPTION

C&A Europe is a leading European family-owned fashion retailer known for sustainable fashion and value for money offering. The organization has new leadership and is embarking on a multi-year transformation program where it is investing significantly to drive growth, revitalize the operational back bone of the business and its digital capabilities.

We are currently looking for an Indirect Procurement Category Manager who will design, develop, and execute the Category Strategies for energy, facilities & sustainability. This includes the identification of and implement sourcing initiatives that deliver cost efficiency, drive sustainability improvements, improve service levels, mitigate risks, and foster long-term healthy partnerships with the vendors.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AT C&A

• Category portfolio consists of Energy & Utilities, Facilities Management (incl. minor capex) & sustainability
• Execute Indirect Procurement initiatives owned centrally for the assigned Category Portfolio on scale and on behalf of central functions and/or markets to deliver commercial results
• Responsible for execution of the Central Category Sourcing Strategy, sourcing plans and programmes, central contract management, buying channel optimization, risk management
• Enable the advancement of the procurement function through development, improvement, and implementation of procurement practices. i.e. Contracts, Tenders, Planning and Forecasting, Monitoring and Reporting, Supplier Relationship Management, procure-to-pay deliverables
• Develop and maintain healthy collaborative relationships with internal leaders across all levels to ensure indirect procurement is aligned with their business objectives. i.e. sustainability objectives
• Fluency in the completion of appropriate technical and commercial analysis to procure a variety of services at the best overall conditions

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Category Management (Energy/facilities/capex/sustainability)
• Skilled communicator with excellent English skills, both written and oral, other languages are a plus
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and skill in end-to-end contracting processes for medium to complex (risk and value) scopes of work
• Demonstrated ability to be a change agent. Proactively identifies, develops, and delivers valuable innovations.
• Self-starter with ability to self-manage multiple priorities in a complex environment
